Is anyone else having problems with closing down Outlook
but the process continues to run? I am using Outlook XP
on an exchange server 2000. PCs are running Windows XP.
The user closes outlook and tries to log off but gets a
message about outlook still running. The only way to log
off is to go into the task manager and end the process.
obviously, I don't want my users going into the task
manager. Can someone point me in the right direction for
a fix? I searched but am not coming up with anything.

Thanks in advance!!
Beth

Are they running any software that integrates with Outlook? Winfax,
virusscanner, spamfilter, synchronisation software, etc? These are all
programs that keep Outlook open untill they are closed themselves.

I am running Office 03 Pro and xp Home on my laptop and
desktop. The program closes on my desktop but always hangs
on the laptop. Both run Norton Antivirus and Win Fax 10. I
don't understand it.

Thanks,
