Outlook Process does not end/ Outlook is closing remains on screen

I am experiencing problems with outlook on a network; when
closing outlook the process continues to run and
the 'Closing outlook' dialog box remains on the screen.
If you open outlook again a new session is started. I
have tried reinstalling OUtlook, recreating exchange
profile, recreating mailbox and even on a new machine, all
with no success. Anyone had similar problems or know of a
resolution

Has anyone been able to narrow the cause of which application is
locking Outlook? We use SAV corp 9.0 but have email scanning on the
servers, not the clients.
Should we exclude certain files from being scanned?

Has anyone been able to find any how to's for PDAs?
Any other updates / news besides SP3a for Office?
