Outlook password won't save

I am having difficulties getting Outlook to retain my
password. I found information on the support site
(290684-OL2002) but it only covers 2000, NT 4.0 & Windows
98. I don't want to follow the instructions for say 2000
if it won't work on XP as it involves changing the
registry. Any ideas on what I should do. By the way, my
version of XP came with SP1.

randwulf57 pointed you to my article. Its appropriate for all NT based
systems, including XP.
