Outlook Out of Office message should reply only to set domains

Today, there is no way to stop Outlook from replying to spam messages when
you set the Out of Office message. I'd like to see this configurable so your
reply will only go to configured domains. For example, a Microsoft employee
could set their OOO message to only reply to messages originating from the
microsoft.com domain.

Exchange, and Outlook of course, do not allow for replies to spam by default.
This setting must be changed on the Exchange server to allow replies and
forwards to the Internet - it is OFF by default. If you are seeing spam, see
your Exchange admin and ask why they changed the default setting. If someone
inside your Exchange organization is sending spam, then that is another
kettle of fish.

In Exchange 2007, admins will have more choices in configuring the Out of
Office Assistant replies, such as domains.

As good as Exchange's spam filter is, it is not perfect, and I still receive
spam in my inbox (along with a whole lot more in my 'junk mail' folder). But
that wasn't really my point.

What I was asking for was a user-configurable option (which is why I posted
this in the Outlook forum rather than the Exchange forum) that would allow
you to limit the domains that your OOO notifications were automatically sent
to. This is a feature available in other mail systems, and I would like to
see it added to Outlook.
