Outlook not sending when using autocomplete

Last week after getting some updates from Microsoft, I found that OUtlook
would not send mail when I used autocomplete to type in the names. If I
typed them in manually, or if I was replying to a message, they would send
fine. I cannot continue to type in email address! My memory is not that
good, and I make too many mistakes. Can anyone help me?

What version of Outlook are you using? What do you mean by "won't send?" Do
you get an error message or ?

Tnanks for checking in with me. I am using Outlook 2007 and Vista. The
messages just sit in my Outbox, no error message is given. Messages that I
reply to send fine, the test email in configuring email accounts sends fine.
I got support from AT&T, and their test message sent fine, and it was that
tech who diagnosed it as the autocomplete problem.
