outlook not responding. Emails take a least 3-4 mins to open.

When i use outlook it takes at least 3-4 mins to open each email to read even
if it is a new email or one previously read.

Continually I get the message Outlook Not Responding. I send the error
report but the problem has not been resolved. Outlook 2003.

I need to find out how to fix this problem and make my emails open
automatically when clicked on. I have the fastest broadband from sky. I
need to find out why its hardly ever reponding?
