outlook not recognizing word as the e-mail editor?

Outlook is not recognizing word as the e-mail editor, even after setting it
to in outlook. What am I not doing? thanks, bjo

In Outlook 2003, choose Options from the Tools drop down
menu. Click on the Mail Format and make sure there is a
check in the box preceeding "Use Microsoft Office Word
2003 to edit e-mail messages.

Thanks for your reply. That step was done and the system is still saying
that Word must be busy or cannot be found. The version of outlook is 2002
(10.6515.6714) SP3. Thanks again. Mindy Jo

The version of outlook is 2002 (10.6515.6714) SP3.

Is the version of Word the same? Versions of Outlook and Word must match in
order to use Word as the editor for Outlook.
