outlook not opening from File and folder task email this file

I want to send pictures directly from My Pictures. I highlight a particular
file, select e-mail this file under Files and Folder tasks, the window opens
to adjust the picture size and when I click ok nothing happens. I also
cannot e-mail document files either. The problem in a nut shell is why does
Outlook (2003) not open? Files do attach fine when Outlook is open. Thanks
in advance.
 
No idea, but this forum is for Word. Why not ask in an Outlook forum?
