outlook not capitalizing words

I have a user with Outlook 2003 and have set all the autocorrect options to
capitalize the words at the beginning of sentences but it is not doing this.
They are using HTML but we have tried with with Rich Text. They are not
using Word as their editor. Any ideas?
 
Have you checked Tools>Options>Spelling>Use autocorrect when Word is not
editor? If so, try Plain Text and see if it works.
 
Use autocorrect when word is not editor is checked and plain text acts the
same way.
