Outlook needs to be closed manually when Windows shutsdown

Hi, I have a Dell system with 1G RAM, WindowsXp Pro and OfficeXp.
When I shutdown or restart my system, I receive an error message advising
me to "Please close all Microsoft Office applications before shuttind down
the system". The two MSOffice functions that are present are the Office
Toolbar and Outlook and isolated this situation to when Outlook is opened. If
I close Outlook, the system shits down and would appreciate if someone could
please advise me what settings I need to change to allow Outlook to close
with manual intervention, when I shutdown my system?
Thank you,
Bob

Is there a reason that you can't physically close Outlook before shutting
the computer down? There is no workaround that I'm aware of for this
situation.

Thanks SgtRich, that's surprising that no workaround is available. Is this a
common occurance, is there any reason (anybody know) why this occurs? Thanks,
Bob
