Outlook message formatting & activex controls

I am trying to copy and past a word doc with hyperlinks & pics into an
Outlook message (don't want it as an attachement). I keep getting a message
"One or More ActiveX controls could not be displayed becauseeither:
1. Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page or,
2. You have blocked a publisher of on eof the controls

As a result the page may not display correctly.

Page definateDOES NOT display correctly - all formatting, pics etc are gone.
I have tried to re-set my IE security settings and Outlook mail settings but
nothing seems to fix this. FYI - up until a few days ago I was able to send
messages this way and don't know what I changed other than deleting Norton AV
(now using AVG).

Any help will be most appreciated.

This could be caused by an addin that you have installed in Word. Copying
the document could also mean you are copying the underlying ActiveX
requirement. At this level of detail it is not possible to suggest any next
steps to take. Instead of copy/paste, why not use the Envelope button in
Word to directly send the document as an email (not as an attachment)?

Roady - Thanks for the response - That does work. Very interesting though -
after testing several other email addresses I find that the "formatting"
actually does stay intact when sent (the message is received & appears fine
on my netscape and hotmail accounts) but it looses most all (pics, hiperlinks
etc) and converts everything to plain text when it comes into my Outlook
(being brought in from any of my other accounts) It also appears okay on the
"sent" copy from Outlook so it is only the Outlook Inbox copy for any of my
accounts I am having forwarded into Outlook that this is occuring on. (i.e.
if I send via my "work email" in Outlook, and BCC one of my "personal" emails
that I consolidate via Outlook, that copy received in the inbox has lost most
everything.)

I would recommend to disable AVG's integration with Outlook completely. It's
doesn't offer any extra level of protection and is known to cause issues
like this.
