last week I tried to open outlook, and it freezes/ stops respondiing, So I
rinstalled and did all the updates to office and it worked one time. now it
freezes after ending the outlook task, it keeps my computer at super slow
(the mouse it slow, takes 10-30 seconds for the task mgr box to open after
hitting ctrl - alt - del) after restart, computer is at normal speed until I
run outlook . I have tried outlook /safe and it will open an seems to
function normally, however I cannot find the outcmd.dat file that has been
refered to in several posts about similar problems, I have checked my add
-ins and there are none checked. Any further ideas would be great.
thanks

Deleting the file "extend.dat", that you find in

C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Local Settings\Application
Datas\Microsoft\Outlook

ought solve the problem.
