Outlook keeps timing out when I try to forward Zip Files

When trying to forward an email with a 5 MB zip file attachment, Outlook
keeps timing out and won't send the message. I can send it out easily using
Web Mail, but Outlook continuously craps out when trying to emails with
attachments over about 1 MB. I have eliminated my domain host and my high
speed ISP as the source of the problem. I suspect that it is a preference
setting, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Does anyone know how to
fix this?

Disable scanning outgoing mail with your antivirus scanner. It's pointless
anyway.
