Outlook & Installer

When I click on an email Window's Installer pops up and says installing.
Stays up for maybe 5 seconds then goes off.
When I have an email open and right click on the email address to copy it or
add it to contacts the installer pops up. It stays up a lot longer, perhaps
a minute before it goes away.
When I'm in a program or explorer and click "send as attachment" or Send to
Mail recipient installer once again pops up. It will stay up for a couple
of minutes if I let it.

I have Windows Installer 3.1 version 2.

If I try to remove it I get a warning that all the programs I installed with
it might not work if it is removed.

I've tried the cleanup program and that didn't affect it. Anyone have any
thoughts on what I can do?

Post to an Outlook newsgroup and tell them which version you're running,
and what service-packs etc are installed.

You can not remove windows installer. you can however install MS Office
in such a fashion as not to ask for the CD Ever.
Insert the CD in the computer
At the first chance choose Detailed or Custom Installation
Choose this again
You will now see a screen with a "tree" menu at the top most level you
will see a small "down arrow" click this you will be given several
options choose "Run all from My computer"
This should solve th issue if i under stand it. If not please let me
know.

Good Luck
