I downloaded a trial of Office Standard 2003 and my siter has Office Pro 2003.

I love the Outlook colors on the Standard edition (yellow, blue). How come
the more expensive version doesn't have at LEAST the same options (Pro 2003)
for Outlook mail client? The Outlook in Pro 2003 is very bland compared to
the Standard 2003.

Has nothing to do with display settings as to the version of Outlook I am
using. I was wondering why Office Pro 2003 has Outlook 2002 on it instead of
2003? I installed Pro and it automatically installed Outlook 2002 w/o the
option of letting me use the 2003 version.

It doesn't. If you installed Office 2003, it contains only Outlook
2003, not Outlook 2002.
