I have been using Office 97 with Windows XP for 2 years on this computer. I
attempted to do a mail merge using Word and Outlook this year as I did
previously for my Christmas card list, but could not. I re-installed Outlook
from the original CD. Now I can not open Outlook 97. I get the following
popup:
OUTLOOK.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience.
Word and Excel continues to work just fine. Is this an issue with Outlook,
or is it an issue with Windows XP? Is there an easy fix?
