When I send an eamil from Outlook some people do not get the attachemnt.
Additionally, when they respond to my email I get my original email, but not
any of the text they write. If I bypass Outlook and send it directly from
comcast everything works fine.

Thanks for the advice. That is what i originally thought. However, if I
send the exact file without using Outlook it goes through. Additionally,
even if I don't attach a file i don't get a proper return email from the
sender. I just get my eamil back without their text.

Make sure you're sending HTML or Plain Text messages, not Rich Text. Only
other Outlook users can read Rich Text. The symptom is that they won't see
attachments.

If changing the message format doesn't help, make sure you are NOT scanning
mail with an antivirus scanner. It's not needed and can cause the problem
you describe.
