Outlook Free/Busy: General Failure

Hi,

I have set up my outlook users to publish their data to
'.vfb' files to a share on a central server.

However, when one of the users trys to view another users
free/busy info he gets the dialog: 'An error occurred
reading Internet free/busy data. General failure. The URL
was "file://\\servername\freebusy\username.vfb".

When I do a 'type \\servername\freebusy\username.vfb' we
list the contents of the file, so its not a permissions issue.

What else could it be?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks Lee-Ann, I've already read this and Q196484, and
we're not using ftp to access the shared files

As I said in the post, it works for all my other users, but
not this one (and there's no difference in the setup).
That's why I'm stumped. Is there any other places I could
check/test the setup.

Try deleting and recreating the user's profile.

Hi Milly,

I've tried deleting the users profile - we still have the
same error.

Do you have any idea why this is happening? (The error
message is not helpful - a general failure could mean
anything).
