The outlook 2003 new feature called Favorite Folder is impossible to hide or
quit. If it is supposed to be f"avorite", then I should choose if I have any
folder in that window or if the window appears or not !.

I think the only thing you can do to switch it off is to go to the View menu,
then choose "navigation pane" but that will then close the list of your other
folders too (unfortunately) I thought I heard from an MVP that you can choose
which folders to have as your favourite ones although I dont think thats what
you want...

I don't know of any way to hide the Favorites pane but you can delete
any folders that are in it.

Hi John
I think the question was to just hide that completely rather than having an
empty box after deleting the folders...as I said in my post then you can
switch off the navigation pane but that does "hide" the favourites folder but
it does also hide the folder list (inbox, sent items, any other folders you
have created)
