outlook express

I recently upgraded from Office for my old Windows 98 to
Office xp. When I tried to use Outlook Express, I am
unable to access my attachments. I get a message that "OE
removed access to unsafe attachments." How can I get
access to these attachments

Just have the sender zip the file into a .zip file and
send it to you. Outlook automatically strips attachments
with specific extensions because if those files are
executed, they may damage the system. If they're zipped,
you know usually where they came from and can control
what runs on your computer.
