how can i send a mp3 or a small video clip as an
attachment to a friend i have tried several time but they
are not receiving them even though i am told it has been

Depending on the size and the limits of your ISP, they may have been
stripped from the email. Much better to upload large files to your
webspace and ask your recipient to view the webpage.
