I have fully updated Outlook Express and Windows XP SP2.
On my Outlook Express Local Folders Inbox I find email
addressed to email addresses that are not mine. Why?

Oh My!

Well, there are two possible solutions that I can think
of off the top of my head:

1) You have Outlook Express as your default mailing
device, and perhaps if your computer has other users or
others accessing under the same user Id(as most people do)
in your household then it's possible that if they decided
to e-mail someone from, for instance, a forum Outlook
Express would engage itself in the process, thus sending
the e-mail from your account.

2) It's also possible that you're being "invaded"
by "headaches", or hackers, and they're messing around
with your computer(either learning how to manipulate the
system or just being jerks).

Either way, you could find a way to use a more private e-
mail session(erhm-hotmail).

I hope that was somewhat helpful.

Peace,

Sandshifter.

It might be your serverrequires authentication >>> try
the following and see if it works >>> open outlook >>>
tools >>> accounts >>> Mail tab >>> properties >>>
servers tab , now once there see if you have a check mark
on >> My server requires authentication , If not then add
it there >>> click apply >> ok and then reboot ... See if
that works

Check Properties of each message: Is your address listed in the CC section?

If you were BCC'ed the message your address will not be visible at all
anywhere.
