outlook express

I can not send or receive email using outlook express or incredimail..I
checked my settings and they appear to be right..my pop3 is pop.earthlink.net
smtp is smtp.earthlink.net
 
Your SMTP entry should read: smtpauth.earthlink.net

I get the following message 'the connection to the server has failed account
pop.earthlink.net server pop.earthlink.net protocol pop 3 port 110
secure(ssl) no socket error 10060 error number 0x800cc0e
