Outlook Express

I have a problem with Outlook Express.All the incoming messages go to the
deleted folder directly instead of going to inbox folder.

What can be wrong.
 
1)Check if the user has any message rules put in. -
OR
2)add another identity on outlook express and test it out -
sometimes happens
