outlook express works outlook 2002 does not

Can anyone help me, I have been using outlook express to
send and receive e-mail with no problems however I have
just loaded a new version of outlook 2002 and can receive
e-mail no probs but cannot send, I have checked my
settings and they are the same for both outlook and
outlook express, this is driving me mad can anyone help
or make some suggestions.cheers Andrew United Kingdom
