outlook express voice notification

how can i be informed of new email with a voice like you see on film and
television ie. youve got mail ?
i have out lookexpress version6.0

I believe you must obtain a third-party program to add such functionality to
OE. For example, see http://www.faxcall.com/phoneworks.htm, or Google for
more.

I *think* this works also with Outlook Express (this group is for
Outlook users):
Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> tab Sounds. Under Program
Events scroll down to New Mail Notification, and add the sound you want.
Look in C:\Windows\Media for sound samples.
