Outlook Express V6 spell checker will not execute.

Outlook Express V6, spell checker, when called shows and
error message "error in spell checker". Outlook Express
was recently loaded onto a newly formated hard drive as
part of Windows XP, Home Edition. XP has been reloaded
but results are the same. Hope you can help.
 
Outlook express uses Microsofts Word spell checker. Do you have word
installed?
 
Hi Henry
I think you will find that IE 6 does not have a spell checker, but uses one from from a word processor, like MS Word.
