Outlook Express Toolbar Missing!

The toolbar buttons from my Outlook Express is missing.
I've tried to enable toolbar by clicking view>>layout
checking "toolbar" then left-clicking "customize toolbar"
but nothing happens. I've also tried right-clicking the
top area and left-clicking "toolbar" in the bax that
appears but still nothing. Any ideas where I can find
it? Everything else seems to run fine. Thanks in
advance!
