for unkown reason the buttons in OE are getting bigger and bigger..
its really crazy, My computer usually runs 24/7 and so does OE in the back.
Everytime I maximize OE the buttons are a little bigger..that goes until only
the one button which is normaly at the far left side is visible and using the
complete wide of the toolbar. When I completely close OE and restart it,
everything is back to normal. then I minimize it, and it starts over..I
maximize it, and the buttoms are again "growing"..
Its not really disturbing, since I can easily get it back by closing and
reopening OE, but it is annoying.
I already deleted and re-installed Internet Explorer ( and therefore also
OE), but the problem is still there.
I would really appreciate some good ideas how to solve that...

Hi Matt,

Maybe your screen is expanding....

Do the buttons expand as you watch them ?
Do they expand in discrete quantum or continuous ?

Seriously though - I would run 'Ad Aware' and 'Spybot Search and
Destroy' for spyware....

( sorry it's almost holidays and things are just a little crazy !!!! )

well, Dave, thanks for your response. but, the adware and spyware thing was
already done of course. Sorry I didnt mention that. but a working firewall,
antivirus scanner and frequently scans for ad/spyware are of obvious for a
computer running with MS WinXP.

Hi Matt,

A serious suggestion - a before and after screen shot may help !

regards, Dave

This is a known bug that has not had a fix yet. Close and reopen
OE for a temporary fix. For some, grabbing the toolbar and pushing
it up and then back down works. You can also right click on the
toolbar and choose Small Icons and uncheck Show Text Labels. This
won't fix it, but they shouldn't run all the way off the screen.

well, even while it doesnt help, since I already figured out how to temporary
fix it, at least I know that there is nothing I could do. so, thank you.
