Outlook Express to Outlook in different computers

I am trying to transfer addresses and messages from Outlook Express on an old
ME based computer to Outlook (from Microsoft Office 2007) on a Vista machine.
This is getting frustrating. Any help with specific steps for a novice
would be appreciated.

Not an Outlook question. You must consult an OE group to see how you can
transfer data from OE to Vista Mail (which replaced OE). Once you have your
data in Vista Mail, you can then use Outlook's import function to get it
into Outlook.
This newsgroup is for support of Outlook 97, 98, 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007
from the Office family for Intel PCs. For Outlook Express (OE) support try
posting in this newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com.microsoft,public.windoes.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

If this group isn't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups).

Also a good source of Outlook Express info can be found here:
