I am using windows XP with Microsoft Works 7. when I start outlook express 6
go into tools, options there is no spelling. I seems that the spelling is
disabled. I have tried everything microsoft have suggested but without
succes. i am now getting very frustrated, is there anyone who can help me
please. Thank you

Does the spell checker work in Works 7? If not, it could be that it isn't
installed and, if not installed, OE wouldn't have a spell checker. Try
correcting some spelling with Works and if it asks you if you want to
install the spell checker, stick your Works CD in your CD ROM and install
it.

Spell check does not work with Works unless you have Works Suite with Word
installed. Spell check requires Word, Excel, Access or Powerpoint.

Outlook Express is *not* some lite version of Outlook. The two products
are unrelated; see

Outlook Express used to be called "Internet Mail & News". Repost your
question to a newsgroup for Outlook Express.
