outlook express spell checker

I have updated to internet explorer 7 and now my spell checker in outlook
express will only check in french. i have tried to change it but there is
only one option french. How do i get it to spell check in english
 
In OE check Tools\Options\Spelling: then set to the language you want. OE
does not have its own Spellcheck, it feeds off a relatively modern version of
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Please let me know if this helps
you.

I understand that the spell check function does not work at the present time
if using Office 2007. Not sure if Microsoft will fix it but you may want to
consider downloading a free spell checker from the web. Google it or ask for
recommendation in the Outlook Express NG.

A great email program that spell checks as you write and has a built-in
spam program is Thunderbird. Get it at http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird

The spell checking is broken for OE with Office 2007. You have to install
the proofing tools for an older version of Office to get it working again.
