Outlook Express Spell Check

I get an error "An error occurred while the spelling was
being checked" Spell check is turned on. All windows
update's have been installed.
Any ideas?

Hi,

Let me explain the issue. Outlook Express does not have an inbuilt
dictionary for spell check. To resolve this issue, you need to download and
install the patch from any one of the following URLs:

http://www.geocities.com/vampirefo/

http://www.quinion.com/mqa/spell.htm

http://www.quinion.com/files/spell/useng.zip

Once this patch is installed, this option should be automatically enabled.
If it is not enabled then follow these steps to enable it:

1. Load Outlook Express and click the Tools menu.
2. Click Options.
3. Click the Spelling tab and choose from the following options:

* Always check spelling before sending
* Suggest replacements for misspelled words
* Words in UPPERCASE
* Words with numbers
* The original text in a reply or forward
* Internet Addresses

4. Click Apply and then click OK.
5. Close and restart Outlook Express.

With the above options enabled, all e-mail messages will be checked for
correct spelling before they are sent.
