Outlook EXPRESS sent mail message box

Probably a simple question...

I am getting the following message in my sent message box:


Folder could not be displayed
Outlook Express could not open this folder.

Possible causes are:

Low disk space.

Low memory.

Outlook Express

How do I clean out the "sent message box" if I can not
open it to reduce excessive memory?
