Outlook express password problem

When I try to send mail with outlook express I get asked to enter the
password for the smtp server I am using. This information is already stored
in the settings for the account and has only started happening recently but I
can not find a solution to the problem. Even if I enter the correct password
the same window pops up again and again all I can do is cancel and the
obviously the mail dosen't get sent. There is another computer in the
household that uses the same setup ( operating system ISP etc) and that has
no problems. I have copied this information into the fields on my machine but
still no joy. Is it possible to uninstall outlook express because it dosen't
seem to appear in the add/remove programs list.

Another possibility is that the other computer might be logged on to the
same account on the mail server {This may not be the problem in your case,
so check the advice that TaurArian gave you first}. Some mail servers do
not like this - I know because it happens here as I have OE and OL2003
reading the same mailbox.
