Outlook Express on Windows XP

I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP and I am having
problems receiving and sending e-mails. I do not believe
that Outlook is even working. This problem occurred
after I upgraded. Any suggestions on a cure?
 
What's the exact problem? Error messages? Outlook or Outlook Express? What
do you try and what exactly happens?
