Outlook Express Mail Transfer

I have recently got a new computer with WINXP - outlook
express 6 on it. My previous computer was windows95 using
outlook express 4.

What i want to know is how to move my mail messages from my
folders on my old computer to folders on my new computer.
(OE4 to OE6)

I have placed the messages from the old computer onto a cd
and they are in the format of .MBX and .IDX, i dont quite
know what this means and how to import them into the new
computer.

Help! please.
