Outlook Express Leave a copy

Is there a way to set Outlook Express to leave a copy on
the server and make sure that the messages don't get
marked as read? I have set it to leave the copy, but it
they all show as read, so I am unable to download them to
another computer.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Taylor asked:

Marked as read is information kept on the client, not on the server.
Reading the message on one computer will not affect whether or not another
computer will see the message as read.
