Outlook Express inbox contents disappear

Have run OE 5 for long time. One day when I went to get
new mail, the new mail came down, but all my old mail
(opened or not) in inbox listings vanished. There was
several hundred and i can see them in the dbx file size
but can't get to them. Any ideas?

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Appreciate your thought, but could not find an express

Right where you found this one. On the left side of the screen, select
Internet Technologies. Under that select your version of Internet Explorer.
Under that, select Outlook Express. Or, use a real newsreader and click
nntp://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress .
