Outlook Express Font Style problem

My default font style suddenly switches to another font
style when the "create mail" option is selected. When
selecting the "Reply" option the default fault style
equals the one set in the compose options.

Check your options under Font here: OE/Tools/Options/Compose.

Is HTML your default for new messages?

Try creating a new Named Identity and see if your selection "sticks".

IE Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility> Is anything checked here?
