Outlook Express Change of ISP

I have changed my ISP from dial up to Broadband and my new ISP wants me to
check my email from a web page. However I have an old mail address from my
old ISP. I thought I could add my new ISP's address to Outlook Express and
then download mail from both but OE now doesn't see the Broadband connection.
How can I get it online to see the new connection, I am confident with the
addition of the new ISP's email address.

OE can use any Internet connection. How do you know that OE doesn't
see the Broadband connection?" What happens when you try to read
mail? What is the complete text of the error message?

Have you set up an E-mail account with the right user name, password,
and POP3/IMAP/HTTP server name for your new ISP?

Hi Steve and thanks for the clarifying questions. I have an account in OE for
my old ISP and what I wanted to do was download any maill that I have had
sent to that ISP's address. I can get the mail when it comes from the new ISP
from it's web page bu it won't allow me to put another ISP address as an
account so I was going to add my new address to OE accounts when I could see
that all was well. However when I click on Send and Receive in OE I get a
message Trying to Connect you and what it is doing is trying to connect to to
my old ISP dial up which is now no longer viable. If I go into OE Tools
Options Connections and then click on Internet Connections Change all it
shows is my old modem and connection not the new Broadband Modem and
connection. I obviously want to make this my Default and the delete the old
Dial Up.
Hope this clarifies where I am at?
Thanks again

You're welcome, Charlie. I think I understand now.

In the Connections window, select "Never dial a connection". Then,
close that window and:

1. Click Tools | Accounts | Mail.
2. Click your old ISP account.
3. Click Properties.
4. Click Connection.
5. Un-check the box that says "Always connect to this account using:".
