outlook express : attachment problems

when i want to add an attachment to an email, the files
that have been made recently do not appear in the list of
files. Apperantly the list -when used in outlook express-
is for some reason NOT updated anymore.
What to do ?

When you click on Attach just navigate to the location of the file you
recently created.
