Outlook Express address book

E

I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'll try again here:

We use OUTLOOK at work and so I have a *.pab file with all my work-related
email addresses in it. I can find the location of the pab file on my work
computer and copy it onto a memory stick.

Then at home I use OUTLOOK EXPRESS and I have my personal email addresses in
the *.wab file.

What I would like to do is incorporate the pab email addresses into the wab
format.

How can I do this?

Outlook hasn't used a PAB in years. You should keep your contacts in your
Contacts folder.

That would be pointless.

the wab format.

How can I do this?

On the machine at work, open Outlook Express and import the addresses from
Outlook with FIle>import>Other Address Book>Microsoft Exchange Personal
Address Book. OE should suck the addresses from Outlook into its WAB. Put
this WAB file on the memory stick and import it at home by starting OE,
opening the address book and clicking FIle>Import>Address Book (WAB).

If the import of the PAB doesn't work, export in Outlook as a CSV file and
take that home to import.
