Outlook Express - Address Book Files Corrupted; Recovery?

Before I reformated my hard drive to fix numerous problems that I will not
mention here, I backed up my files and put my address books on floppies
(yeah, should have chosen CDs; i know now). One of those floppies developed
an error, and I can only recover the .wa~ and the .wab~ files, not the main
..wab. Is there some way for me to recover the address book with that one file
missing? I would greatly appreciate any help you people can offer me.

The WAB~ file will be the more recent of the two automatically created &
maintained backup files.

If your current Address Book is, e.g., Name.wab, rename either of the backup
files to Othername.wab. You can then:

- Open Name.wab and import the Othername.wab data via
File>Import>Address Book (wab)>...; or

- Open Othername.wab, export the data as a CSV file (File>Export>Other
address book) and then import the CSV file into Name.wab (File>Import>Other
address book>...)
