Outlook Express 6 takes forever to open now

My computer recently crashed and I had to reformay and re-install Windows XP
home. Now, whenever I open Outlook Express, it takes 2 or 3 minutes to
actually open ... before the crash, it opened instantly.

Any suggestions how to speed up OE? Any suggestions
on how to speed up computer in general (it was MUCH faster pre-crash)? I
have a 2.4 Gig CPU with 512 Megs memory and 120 Gig harddrive. Thanks ...
