Outlook Exp will not open email attachments of *.PPS files

When I try to open the file it says there is not a program associated with
the file and directs one to go to folders optins control panel. I go there
and big as life PPS extensions are associated with Microsoft Office Power
Point Viewer.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
