Outlook.exe error when logging off

When I log out of Windows XP Professional, I get an Outlook.exe error after
it tries to close then hangs up. I have the choice to try again or end now.
The only way to continue to exit is to end now. This happens two times, then
the application closes and the logoff process completes. (I'm using Outlook
2003)

Do you close Outlook first before shutting down your PC?

I do close Outlook and all other applications before logging off.
