outlook / exchange 2003 reminders not working

Hi folks

I have a client running Outlook on XP Pro sp2 (Office 2003 sp2 / SBS
Exchange 2003) whose reminders (calendar and tasks) have stopped working.
All other clients ok.
Have checked all client settings to make sure reminders are turned on, sent
meeting requests etc without any success. any ideas?
