Outlook duplicates e-mail

I just re installed Outlook 2007 and it is now trying to download all of my
old messages. I am using the .pst file from the previous installation. It is
creating duplicates in my inbox.
I don't want the send and recieve to get all those old e-mails.

Please advise.

Then either delete them from the mail server (via webmail) before running
Outlook or move them to a different folder on the server.
