Since this morning I have not been able to send out emails using outlook. I
have a pop3 hotmail account set up and it wont send using Outlook. Is outlook
down or is it an msn issue. I can send out using the Hotmail browser.

Hotmail POP? Not likely. Download the latest Outlook Connector and try
that.

Thank you Dale, I do have a plus account and it was working until the day
before yesterday. I can receive emials but it tries to send it says that
Outlook cannot connect to the outgoing server. I know its not a "My Computer"
issue because my wifes is having the same problem. I know Outlook is just a
program and it shouldnt be going "Down" but did something change that I was
not aware of? We both has paid hotmail plus accounts and they dont work with
oulook since yesterday. I can go online to Hotmail.com and send emails that
way.

I just tried smtp.live.com in Outlook 2007 and no server
problems here!!
Any changes to your system that may be common to both set
ups?

Problem Solved: I called my ISP because MSN Phone support was, well useless.
They only support billing inquiries, not technical support. I would have to
send them an email and hope for a response, well I am still waiting for a
response from 2 months ago. Emails must take a long time to travel from were
I am to Microsoft Land. My ISP (Comcast, My Hereos) had my change my outgoing
server port from 25 to 587. That fixed everything. It seems Microsoft or
someone blocked my 25 port. Would of been nice to get a message or something.
Go figure. THANK YOU COMCAST.
